Mercedes is a Certified Physician Associate specializing in aesthetic procedures in Thousand Oaks, Beverly Hills, and Los Angeles. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. She then earned her Masters of Science and Physician’s Assistant Studies at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Mercedes serves as a National Instructor with a focus on botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. She has been training Physicians, Dentists, DO’s, PA’s, and NPs nationwide for eight years.

Racquel graduated from Samuel Merritt University with her BSN in Nursing. Racquel started her nursing career working in acute care at Los Robles Medical Center. Racquel has suffered with problematic skin and through her skincare journey she has found a passion for helping others look and feel their best. That’s when she decided to switch her nursing focus to aesthetics. Racquel has now been working in aesthetics and Medical Spas for 3 years. Racquel is certified in botulinum toxins, dermal fillers, facials, and lasers.

I am an experienced, board certified family nurse practitioner with specific interest in functional medicine, medical aesthetics, wellness and anti-aging medicine. I have been focused on improving the healthcare of my community since 2009. I have over 10 years of hospital experience helping to put a bandaid on our healthcare crisis. As a primary care provider for more than 5 years, I have worked with my patients to improve their health outcomes but have come to learn that change is hard even in the face of real dire risk to health and happiness. Current mainstream treatments are not always the only answer, and in most cases my patients using prescription drugs have continued to suffer and have developed new adverse health concerns from the drug side effects. This reality motivated me to seek new solutions, which I have found in functional and anti-aging medicine. I currently combine my training in functional medicine with my skills in non-surgical aesthetics and wellness practices to help clients make real, positive changes towards a happier and healthier life.
