How Does IPL Work?
If no additional treatments are performed, an IPL photofacial can be completed in 20 – 30 minutes in our minor procedures room at our Thousand Oaks, CA office. To prepare for the procedure, the technician will wash and dry your skin before covering your eyes with protective shields. The IPL is performed using a handheld wand that passes over the skin while emitting pulses of light energy. While most patients will feel mild discomfort throughout the IPL, it is usually tolerable for the short treatment time.

How much does IPL cost?
Every patient case is unique, which means the cost of IPL treatments will vary based on your unique goals. Santè Spa | aesthetics & wellness offers monthly specials and we accept most payment methods. In your initial visit, your technician can estimate your cost and recommend how many sessions are needed to match your goals.
How quick are the results from IPL?
Improvements can be seen following each session, but optimal results develop around one month after your last treatment. It’s normal for you to see different responses following each treatment session. You should see gradual improvements of redness, blotchiness, sunspots, and age spots.
Why should I get multiple IPL sessions?
We recommend getting a series of IPL to deliver natural-looking improvements to the appearance of your skin. Every session helps to reduce spots and other surface irregularities. Multiple sessions also produce longer-lasting results.
